Cases of COVID-

19 have been recorded in growing numbers of countries including the United States & India. Public policy organizations include the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United States. Disease Control and Prevention Centers (CDC), monitor the situation and post updates on their websites. In March 2020 the WHO announced a global pandemic. Both associations have also released guidelines on how to prevent and treat the disease.

Symptoms

Signs and symptoms of COVID-19 may appear two to 14 days after exposure and can include:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

Other symptoms can include:

  • Tiredness
  • Aches
  • Runny nose
  • Sore throat
